If you drive past Kemayan Square in Seremban, you’ll notice two tall, unfinished towers quietly standing under the sky. These are the Seremban Twin Towers — once planned as a modern mix of residences and commercial spaces.

But history had other plans. When the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis hit, the developer ran into financial trouble. Construction stopped, and the project was left suspended — a dream frozen in concrete.

当你驶过芙蓉的金馬扬广场（Kemayan Square），可能会看到两座高楼静静矗立在天际下。它们就是芙蓉双子塔（Seremban Twin Towers），当年原本规划为住宅与商业并存的现代建筑群。

然而，命运开了个玩笑。1997年亚洲金融风暴爆发后，发展商陷入财务困境，工程被迫停工，梦想就此凝固在半空。

🌱 A Second Chance to Rise

After nearly three decades, I believe this landmark deserves a second look — and a second life.

Redevelopment could transform the site into a mixed-use lifestyle hub — combining serviced apartments, co-working offices, F&B spaces, and community areas. Imagine turning what was once abandoned into a place full of energy and connection.

🏗️ Before that, of course, comes a structural and safety assessment, to ensure the old frame is still sound and can meet today’s building codes.

时隔三十年，这地标或许值得重生的机会。

若重新规划，它可被改造为综合生活商业中心——结合服务公寓、共享办公空间、餐饮与社区设施，把废墟转化为城市的活力源泉。

当然，在重建之前，必须进行结构与安全评估，确保建筑框架仍符合现行安全标准。

💰 Cost & Vision

A full revival may cost around RM150–200 million, depending on how much structural repair, redesign, and M&E upgrades are needed.

But with creative planning, smart financing, and government–private collaboration, this could become Seremban’s new city gateway — a proud symbol of revival and resilience.

To me, the Seremban Twin Towers represent more than an unfinished project — they symbolize the hope to rebuild and the courage to restart.

Sometimes, a city — like a person — just needs someone to believe in its second chance.
